Maintaining your pet’s appearance can be a difficult task for any dog or cat owner. Neglecting an animal’s skin or coat can lead to issues such as severe matting, skin conditions, and general discomfort. Good pet hygiene can help your cat or dog feel more comfortable, detect parasites such as fleas and ticks, and facilitate early detection of medical conditions involving the skin and coat.

Leave your dog or cat in the hands of your Buckeystown professional groomer—you will be amazed at the difference! Learn how easy it is to keep your animal looking and smelling great with the basic maintenance of regular grooming services.

We offer two professional groomers on staff, with grooming services available Monday through Saturday. Our groomers serve each animal on an individual basis, creating a grooming plan that suits each special pet and meets the needs of the pet owner. For pets that have medical concerns, we will coordinate with your on-site veterinarian for comprehensive care and treatment of skin diseases and other systemic conditions.

Pet Grooming Rates

While our pet grooming rates are based on the breed of animal, size, and extent of work being done, we are pleased to offer an estimate over the phone when scheduling you initial appointment.

You do not need to be a current client of Buckeystown Veterinary Hospital to use our grooming services; however, you will need proof of current vaccinations at the time of your appointment. If your pet does not have a regular veterinarian, we are able to coordinate your first visit, initial vaccinations, and a grooming on the same day. Visit our New Clients page for more about the services we offer at Buckeystown Veterinary Hospital.

If you are a current client of Buckeystown Veterinary Hospital, you may schedule your pet for grooming services at the time of most veterinary appointments. Please contact us to discuss this option or mention your preference at the time you schedule your next visit.

“We have been bringing our dogs to Buckeystown Vet Hospital for about five years now. After using several other area vets, I wouldn’t use any other vet facility. All of the doctors are amazing and work to figure out whatever strange ailment my dogs may come up with. The doctors and the staff are so patient with me and always calm my nerves. I consider many of them friends. I am thankful I found Buckeystown Vet Hospital for my current and future dogs!”
